 Interim Service in Harlow , Essex

1.  Engine oil with correct grade, type and quantity
2.  Oil filter 

1.  Check operation of brakes 
2.  Check steering controls and column for wear/movement 
3.  Check for correct gearbox operation 
4.  Check horn 
5.  Report if cabin filter is due to be replaced according to mileage (additional charge applies) 
6.  Check dash warning lights 

1.  Check for body damage 
2.  Check wheels and trims for damage 
3.  Visual Check for exhaust smoke 
4.  Check operation of exterior lights 
5.  Remove Road wheels and check 
6.   Check tyre size and tyre fitted according to side wall instructions 
7.  Check and adjust tyre pressures, including spare (if applicable) 
8.  Set wheel nut torque to manufacturer's settings 
9.  Check windscreen wiper condition / operation 
10.  Check rear wiper condition / operation (if applicable) 
11.  Check screen washer operation and align jets if required 

1.   Drain engine oil and refill with correct grade, type and quantity 
2.  Replace oil filter
3.  Replace sump plug seal or report sump plug replacement if integral 
4.  Check for excessive oil leaks (report any serious leaks)  
5.  Check for timing belt replacement interval & report if due according to mileage/age 
6.  Report if Spark Plugs are due to be replaced according to mileage (additional charge applies) 
7.  Top up coolant as required 
8.  Report if fuel filter is due to be replaced according to mileage (additional charge applies) 
9.  Check Battery security, condition and print results 

1.    Check & report condition and security of undertray 
2.  Check clutch operation and adjust (if applicable) 
3.  Check & Top up clutch fluid (if applicable) 
4.  Check drive shaft gaitors for security and report leaks 
5.  Check brake pads for wear or damage 
6.  Check brake calipers for leaks and security 
7.  Check foot brake shoes for wear or damage and adjust (if applicable) 
8.  Check operation of wheel cylinders and report any leaks 
9.  Visual Check of brake hydraulic system pipes and hoses 
10.  Check security of handbrake linkages and travel 
11.  Check Brake discs / drums (excluding internal drums) 
12.  Check Brake Fluid Level & Top Up (if required) 
13.  Check / top-up power steering reservoir (if applicable) 
14.  Check steering / suspension components for wear and corrosion 
15.  Visual Check of power steering system 
16.  Check steering rack gaitors 
17.  Check wheel bearings 
18.  Check shock absorber condition and report on any serious leaks 
19.  Check exhaust system including catalyst (if fitted) 

1.  Reset vehicle service light 
2.  Stamp service book 
3.  Vehicle roadtest
